In this section we will share our best tips for generating a maximum-impact report with Yasna.
The simplest way to start is by clicking the “Stars” icon on the right side of the question box. Yasna will then generate a relevant question based on the overall context of your study and the specific topic at hand:
The output
You will receive a high-level summary—a concise answer to the question asked, but it may lack clear structure. To achieve the desired result, you can include additional instructions in your query to specify the output format and make the most of your report.
You can ask Yasna to create a more organized structure by using lists. To do that simply add an instruction right inside the question box, for example:

List all the ways of treating colds that people mentioned. For each one, indicate the symptoms that bothered people.

You can make your request more precise by defining specific search criteria:
<aside> 🔑
Identify and list all medicines used by people (i.e. not home or folk remedies).

One more way to phrase this:
<aside> 🔑
Identify and list all home or folk remedies used by people for colds (i.e. not medicines sold in pharmacies).

To explore your data in more detail, you can create user subsets based on criteria like language, interview links, passed parameters, or specific interview lists.
To do this, go to the Report tab and click “New set” to open the subset setup. You can then choose the source for your subsets - links, languages, stimuli, variables or manually select interviews by IDs. You can also rename the subsets for clarity (e.g., “Concept A” or “EN audience”).
Once you’re done, simply close the window. Your subsets will be saved automatically. This feature lets you compare responses across different audience segments or test conditions, adding depth to your analysis.
If you use subgroups, you will receive a comparative analysis of the characteristics and detailed conclusions for each subgroup:
Sometimes, it helps to not only list items but also to show how often they appear in the data. In these cases, you can ask Yasna for a table that shows the items' distribution in percentages. To do so, please select "% Table" as the type of output.
After that, write your request in the text box or choose an AI-generated one from “Suggestions”.

If you want to obtain richer, more “qualitative” data, you can ask Yasna to select the most detailed and compelling quotes that capture diverse perspectives:

We are interested in the most original ways of treating colds found in the data. Select 10-15 most complete and original examples describing the ways people manage symptoms. Each way should be in the form of a quotation from the respondent, given according to the rules of direct speech formatting.
