1. Creating a project

Create a project by clicking on the “New project” button.

You can name the project, or Yasna will do it herself based on the context.

In the “Context” field, we recommend providing a brief description of your interview audience and project details, such as:

• Research objectives,
• Research geography,
• Demographics of the target audience,
• Any other relevant characteristics.

The “Interview-level instructions“ allow you to specify the desired language attributes, communication style and any preferred terminology, including local idioms, expressions and the use of specific language variations.

2. Writing the interview guide

Start creating your interview guide by adding either an open-ended discussion topic or a closed-ended question. Read more about the latter here.

When creating the topics for interview guide:

• Consider what you really want to learn from your audience.
• Group your questions into major topics by theme. </aside>

You can check what questions Yasna is going to ask in the topic by clicking on the credit count.

If you feel that the questions do not cover everything you need, click on the “Stars” button to ask Yasna to review the topic again.

You can also ask Yasna to deepen your topic by clicking on the Magic Wand that appears when writing a topic:

After that, Yasna will suggest a new version that you can either accept or decline:

Keep the guide simple. The shorter the interview, the better. The optimal interview duration is 15–20 minutes. You will find an estimate of the interview's length and the cost in credits below the interview guide.
